SECRETAIRE “MAGIC BOX” BY SWISS ARCHITECTS MUMMENTHALER & MEIER, MADE IN SWITZERLAND 1950S.
“Magic Box” desk the secretary was designed by the Swiss architects Ernst Mummenthaler and Otto Meier and manufactured in Switzerland in the 1950s. When folded and locked, the Magic Box can be closed into a discreet cabinet to protect your documents. If you open it, a small pull-out desk appears with numerous small compartments and shelves with plenty of storage space. The piece of furniture doesn't take up much space and leaves it and is a real eye-catcher in every interior, a piece of design history from 50 years.
Large writing surface, pull-out drawer and pull-out compartments, the whole thing is with an automatic Equipped with lighting that switches on and off by pulling the lamp. The “Magic Box” is cleaned and checked in very good condition. The lamp has been rewired, the secretary measures 165 cm when fully open and 29.7 cm wide, the desk has a seat height of 70 cm.
The “Magic Box” desk is a fascinating piece of furniture handcrafted from oak and other precious woods.
