RARE BOOKCASE WALL UNIT FROM HOLSATIA, GERMANY, 1930S.
Rare modular bookcase from the 1930s from the Holsatia factory in Hamburg, Handcrafted in Germany. 5-part bookcase with adjustable shelves with brass supports are embedded in the shelf in a division of 3, the lower part is built with 3 large folding drawers offer plenty of storage space and can serve as a bench. The surrounding external vertical and horizontal strips, as well as the cassette compartments, form a harmonious design language. The furniture is made of alder wood with handmade glass, it is a top part and a bottom part, these 2 parts can be used separately and are connected with screws.
The material and overall workmanship of this furniture are of very high quality, a timeless design that can adapt to your wishes. A perfect piece of furniture for the apartment or studio and also for a showroom.
The Holsatia Works made everything in their own workshops, wood, glass, metal. The founders of Holsatia-Werke, Julius Neumann and later Erich Buchholz, produced furniture of very high quality.
