GEOMETRIC DESIGN CABINET BY PLINTPLANK FOR ARCHITECT AND DESIGNER 1920S
MADE IN GERMANY.
The Plintplank shelf embodies a decidedly brutalist, rustic character. The frame parts and floors are made of spruce-fir softwood, with a clear construction defined horizontal and vertical lines. The shelves are simply inserted into one another in a grid and hung using metal tabs in the frame and the shelves fit tightly. Additional wedges in the respective horizontal transitions ensure a perfect finish. Using metal brackets (8 metric threaded screws), the vertical supports are connected to each other firmly and very stably, the shelf is very stable and offers plenty of space. The metal cross further stabilizes the shelf and can be arranged as desired.
It is a well thought-out construction, with its own simple style in terms of material selection, proportions and details. The entire construction is characterized by simple connection solutions and shows simple craftsmanship. It is possible to build the shelf in such a way that the frame parts can be combined to create a total of 4 complete rules, thus obtaining a total length of approx. 412cm and a depth of 24.5cm.
The modern and timeless furniture can be easily integrated into all furnishings from elegant to extravagant and is an eye-catcher in every interior.
