BAUHAUS RUNG CHAIRS IN BEECH WOOD, 1930S, SET OF 4.

4 rung chairs with linoleum seat and chair frame made of beech wood. Typical kitchen chairs. Forerunner of the Frankfurter kitchen chair with rungs between the legs, original condition with a nice story. The rung chair can be found in many French cathedrals, hence the name French cathedral chair. Until the 1930s, these chairs were manufactured in factories or purely by hand, especially in Ticino, which is why it is also called the Ticino chair.
